Felix was awoken from sleep by the morning light slanting into his eyes. He groaned, until he realised that his body lay alongside another, solid and warm. The satisfied feeling in his body, the dried stain still coating his stomach, and the mess of sheets all around them finally brought the memories of the previous night back to him.

He peeked an eye open, seeing Reynold’s pale back before him. Somehow in sleep, he’d come to embrace his lover from behind, holding him close as if he never wanted him to leave. Which he didn’t, truthfully.

He’d never meant to stay like this until morning. Reynold had seemed adamant on leaving. He knew he had to leave. Yet they were here now, so he may as well enjoy it.

His semi-erect cock lay between Reynold’s arse cheeks, an area he’d left severely neglected the previous night. So, he moved his body slowly and gently between his, letting the pale cheeks rub his hardening cock.

Reynold moaned and shifted slightly, finally roused from sleep. Felix continued, skirting Reynold’s hole with his ever-stiffening cock. A place he dearly wished to explore further. His hand drifted across Reynold’s body and found his cock, hardening just as much as his own, wrapped around it, and pumped it with the same rhythm as his body, delighting in the feeling of it growing harder in his hand.

“Felix…” Reynold muttered, reaching behind to curl his fingers into Felix’s hair. Drawing his face closer, Felix pulled him into a heavenly kiss, licking and moaning into each other’s mouths. “Felix… you’re so…” Reynold groaned, his sleep-addled state barely comprehending what was happening.

“You’re so beautiful,” Felix said, opening his eyes to take in the mass of red hair his face was buried in.

Red hair?

He drew back, his movements stopping. Reynold’s hair was black as night. The man before him had hair as red as a fox’s fur.

“Shit…” Reynold said, his eyes finally opening fully as his senses returned to him all at once. He ran a hand through his fiery hair, looking all around like a panicked fox. “I wasn’t supposed to stay this long…”

“You shouldn’t be in my room…” Felix said, panic of his own rising inside him.

“Your room?” Reynold said, finally turning to look at him. Shit, he’d given it away.

He finally remembered. Why Reynold’s name sounded so familiar. He had heard it before, even if he’d never met the prince with that name. There was only one family he knew of which had hair of such a dazzlingly bright shade of red. The family locked in a bitter war with his own.

“You’re a-” they said at the same moment, interrupted by a knock at the door.

“Prince Felix, are you awake yet?” Norman’s voice came from the other side of the door.

“Shit!” they both said, scrambling from the bed. Felix to find something to cover himself with, and Reynold to hide.

“Just a moment, Norman. I’m getting dressed,” Felix said, pulling the sheet from the bed as Reynold half crawled and half fell over the other side.
